T5 Pinkerton cabinets are among the most prized and most interesting issues of the early 20th century. Pinkerton, the actual parent company of Red Man Tobacco that released its own legendary sets in the 1950’s, released the amazing T5 set using a redemption method where consumers were required to mail in 10 coupons from cigarettes in order to receive a cabinet photo of the player of their choice. Interestingly, Pinkerton’s are true cabinet cards, with an actual photo attached to a heavy cardboard backing or frame. This example of Eddie Collins is among the nicest you'll find and arrives in a SGC 5.5 holder.
