"The Old Flash” played for the Giants and Cardinals, then managed for the Cardinals, Pirates and Cubs spanning from 1919 to 1951. He was a four-time World Series champion, won the NL MVP in 1931 and was elected to the Hall of Fame 1947. This stunning example of a 1932 Frankie Frisch U.S. Caramel card is near flawless, with perfect centering, sharp corners and vivid colors. This card has been graded an 8.5 by SGC. This card of the Hall of Famer is almost impossible to find a flaw and begs the question why wasn’t it graded Mint. Looking at the population reports, you quickly realize how rare this card is, especially in this grade. PSA has only graded 69 of these, with only one graded higher, while SGC has graded 25 Frisch singles and also has only one “9” grade. This one will be a perfect addition to your pre-war HOF collection.
