As a one-time National League All-Star player, Harry “Peanuts” Lowrey, spent the better parts of 13 years in the major leagues with several different teams. Appearing in his only World Series in 1945 with the Chicago Cubs, Lowrey played in all seven games and hit .310 in a losing effort. Perhaps, best remembered by collectors in part because of his appearance on a rare short-printed 1948 Leaf card, the PSA 4 / VG-EX graded example presented here has beautiful eye-appeal with a crisp image and array of bold colors, despite the technical grade. I think you would agree this card has an attractive appearance of a more highly graded card.
