Killebrew didn't just hit home runs. He hit majestic, towering drives that seemed to stay in the air forever. One of the greatest power hitters of all time, Killebrew almost single-handedly carried the Twins franchise for the decade of the 1960’s. While players like Oliva, Carew, Allison and others came and went, it was Killebrew who was the face of the franchise, and to this date, even with stars such as Kirby Puckett in more recent times, Killebrew remains the unquestioned king of Minnesota baseball. Of the 2,030 Gray Back versions PSA has graded, only 15 have received a Mint grade, with only one graded higher.
