Sievers was the last true star to ever play for the St. Louis Browns. A slashing, line-drive hitter, Sievers later was a fan favorite, and personal favorite of Vice President Richard Nixon, while playing for the Washington Senators. Only three singles, including this one, have achieved a perfect Gem Mint grade.
