Experts will forever debate who merits the title “Greatest Pitcher of All-Time”. Johnson, Mathewson, Grove, Seaver, Clemens, etc. What is irrefutable is that over a five-year period, great HOF hurler Sandy Koufax dominated the game more than any pitcher that ever toed the rubber. His second year 1956 Topps White Back version presented here in a PSA Mint 9 holder has only been bested by a single PSA 10! The Koufax portrait and pitching motion images are unimprovable, with beautiful blended colors that are framed by perfect centering and razor sharp corners/edges. Both the front and back surfaces are blemish free with the overall look of the card lending itself to a fresh, “out of the pack” card. Don’t be one of Sandy’s new strikeout victims, bid strong on this one and hit a home run! This one begs the question why it wasn’t it a Gem Mint 10. According to the population reports, there’s only one graded higher and a mere 36 graded at this level.
