Consider that Yankee legends Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra accumulated an unfathomable six MVP’s, and 894 lifetime home runs. If that isn't impressive enough, their combined World Series totals are absolutely remarkable, including 30 home runs, 79 R.B.I.’s, 26 appearances, 17 championships and 140 games! They were the heart and soul of the Incredible 1950’s and early 1960’s Yankees dynasty, justifying why their dual representation on the 1957 Topps No. 407 subject is one of the most coveted post WWII baseball cards. With that in mind, presented here is a spectacular PSA 8. This sparkling rendition of the two Yankee Hall of Fame legends depicts both players with bats over their left shoulders as they rest on the top of the dugout steps, waiting for their turn to wreak havoc on another overmatched hurler. Dressed in their classic Yankee pinstripe home uniforms, each player portrays near pristine contrast and focus. Dazzling white borders, a clean glossy surface and a virtually flawless reverse side complete this 1957 Topps marvel that, synonymous with the excellence of its two iconic players, is more than worthy of a final resting place in any high grade PSA Registered Set! PSA has graded more than 3,600 of this single and only 11 have received a higher grade.
