Chicago Post Season Tickets: 1935 World Series Game Three Stub, 1945 World Series Game Six Full Voided No Seat Ticket, 1992 Chicago Bulls Playoff Ticket Stub

For the Chicago sports fan, it gets no better. The Cubs lost the 1935 World Series to the Tigers in six games, after winning 21 straight games in September to overtake the Cardinals and win the pennant. In Game Three of the World Series, the Tigers topped the Cubs in 11 innings, when Detroit’s Jo-Jo White singled in the winning run in the extra frame.

The 1945 Fall Classic was a rematch of the 1935 Series, with the Tigers winning in seven games this time. At the time, the Series was called “The World’s Worst Series” because the talent pool in the game was so massively depleted by World War II. The “Curse of the Billy Goat” also originated in this Series before the start of Game Four.

As for the 1992 Bulls, Michael Jordan and company took care of business after winning their first every title the previous year. Behind Jordan the Bulls destroyed Portland in the Finals four games to two. MJ averaged over 34 points per game for the post season, playing an average of 41.8 minutes per contest.
